Bigger crates or more small ones? Can't decide what's more efficient

We're a medium-sized logistics company based in Sharjah and I've been going back and forth on our storage strategy for weeks now. Currently we use standard 1200x1000 pallets and some smaller plastic containers but our inventory has grown so much that we're constantly running out of floor space and it's becoming a real headache trying to organize everything efficiently. I've been considering switching to larger bulk containers to consolidate our storage but I'm worried about the weight distribution and whether our forklift operators will find them awkward to handle compared to the smaller units we're used to. I was looking at the Quality Jumbo Crates supplier in Dubai and they seem to have some really solid options with good load capacities but I'm still hesitating because it's a significant investment and changing our whole workflow is not something I take lightly. Has anyone here made the transition from standard pallets to jumbo crates and noticed a big difference in space efficiency? Also, do they stack well when full or do you need specialized racking to support them properly? I'd really appreciate some real-world insight before I pull the trigger on this because I don't want to end up with a bunch of oversized crates that don't work for our daily operations.
