How does this injection work?

The doxorubicin pegylated liposomal injection works as pegylated liposomes made of tiny spheres. These spheres remain in the blood for longer duration, protect the heart, and help to reach more of the drug to the cancer cells. It blocks an enzyme called topoisomerase 2 to disrupt DNA replication of tumor cells. Doxorubicin pegylated liposomal injection is an ati-cancer chemotherapy drug that strictly requires a doctor's prescription.
