Why Does Adding Audio To Slides Keep Causing Playback Issues

I was trying to improve a presentation by adding background music in Google Slides for a team update, but I keep running into issues where the audio does not play correctly or stops midway during the slideshow. I am not sure if this is because of incorrect settings, file format problems, or something I am missing while inserting the audio.
