Why are my dating ads not getting leads on native platforms?

I’ve been wondering about this for a while now. Has anyone else tried running dating ads on native platforms and just… not getting results? Like, the clicks are there sometimes, but actual leads? Pretty disappointing. When I first started, I thought native ads would be perfect for dating campaigns. They blend in, feel less “salesy,” and people usually engage more. But in my case, things didn’t really go as planned. I was getting impressions and even decent CTR, but conversions were super low. It honestly made me question if I was targeting the wrong audience or just using the wrong approach altogether. After digging around and testing a few things, I realized the issue wasn’t just the platform. It was more about how I was using it. My creatives looked too much like ads, not content. Once I started making them feel more like real stories or relatable posts, engagement improved a bit. Still not amazing, but definitely better.I also came across this guide on  Native Ad Platforms for Dating Campaigns  which actually helped me rethink my approach. It talks more about matching the tone of the platform and focusing on user intent instead of just pushing signups. That part clicked for me.Another thing I noticed is that dating ads seem to work better when you don’t rush the user. Instead of sending them straight to a signup page, I tried softer landing pages with a bit of storytelling. It felt slower, but the quality of leads improved.I’m still experimenting, but I’d say native ads can work for dating campaigns… just not in the obvious way. Curious if others here had similar struggles or found something that worked better?
